I was in Edinburgh and not able to be at the Redaction Revisited performance at the Pyramid Club on 9 August 2016, luckly Mark Lockett had arranged for Thomas Lambert to record the evening for me. We have never done a performance involving projection before and there was no time for a rehearsal as Mark had just got off a plane from NY and was about to start a NZ tour with the Dan Bolton Quartet. On the whole I think it worked out well.
There were some amazing NZ acts at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Many thanks to the Arts Foundation and Boosted for supporting my Media Pass. I had a wonderful time capturing moments at the festival. There are more images available on my Twitter page

Excited that my art work (non-photography) sold at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) 6×6 show. All works are $20 with the proceeds donated to the running of the center. The 2016 exhibition runs until 17 July 2016 or can be viewed on the RoCo website http://www.roco6x6.org
Met some lovely people at the Chromatic Visions exhibition last night. No matter how organized I try to be it’s always stressful but on the day it all seems to come together. Selecting work to exhibit can be daunting, especially when you only get one chance to make an impression. I can share the what, how and when of an image but the potential buyer has to make their own connections. If the image isn’t speaking to them well it just isn’t. You can’t take it personally.
I want to give special thanks to Dawn Wayand for curating the exhibition and all her hard work ensuring a great turnout and exhibition. Thanks also to the people who decided to purchase an image on the night, this is the best feedback an artist can receive.
I have been invited by curator Dawn Wayand to exhibit as part of a group of up-and-coming artists at Caelum Gallery in Chelsea. This will be a special one-day event, all work will be for sale and includes complimentary drinks and live music by the Jeff Fowler Group.
For catering purposes reservations are highly recommended by visiting https://chromaticvisions.eventbrite.com Although reservation are free guests are encouraged to select a discretionary donation which will go toward Art Start, an organization that nurtures the voices, hearts and minds of New York City’s underserved youth through consistent creative workshops inside homeless shelters, alternative to incarceration programs, and partnering youth agencies.

Susan Burnstine creates amazing images so to have her select one of my images for the SohoPhoto Krappy Kamera Competition blew me away.
The above image was captured in Central Park on a cold winters day on a holga using a panorama film holder. Check out my lomography page on www.lomography.com for more plastic camera images.
