Winter in New York, uploaded to Lomography 2016.
Sometimes when I come home after a day in the office I just want to unwind.
Its been a little while since I have been in a show where proceeds are donated to an organisation, in this case South Wellington Intermediate School. The pieces selected for the show feature images captured on good old fashion film of Petone Beach. I have priced them very affordable in order to encourage a potential sale and funds for the School.

Joe Magnarelli at Smalls Jazz Club, July 2017
I had a great time capturing images of the New York Jazz scene. If you are going to NYC I highly recommend Smalls Jazz Club and Mezzrow. More images from my trip are posted on my music photography facebook page
I was in Edinburgh and not able to be at the Redaction Revisited performance at the Pyramid Club on 9 August 2016, luckly Mark Lockett had arranged for Thomas Lambert to record the evening for me. We have never done a performance involving projection before and there was no time for a rehearsal as Mark had just got off a plane from NY and was about to start a NZ tour with the Dan Bolton Quartet. On the whole I think it worked out well.
